Illuminating the Hidden Targets of Cancer

We are revolutionizing targeted oncology with epitope level precision to develop life changing medicines for people with cancer.

The name Stipple Bio reflects our precision-driven approach to oncology—revealing powerful, tumor-specific epitopes by mapping thousands of subtle molecular points, or “dots”, that form the basis for a new therapeutic picture.

A stipple drawing is created from thousands of carefully placed dots rather than broad sweeps of lines or shading. A pointillist painting is composed of distinct points of color that resolve into a unified image. Both techniques have been employed by master artists from early innovators like Georges Seurat and Paul Signac to modern visionaries like Chuck Close, and reflect a long tradition of building powerful results from precisely placed points.

Traditional antibody discovery often targets well-characterized, dominant surface proteins whether they are on healthy or tumor cells—the equivalent of drawing with bold strokes. A stippling or pointillism approach is more refined and purposeful: systematically identifying tumor-specific epitope differences across established, emerging, and novel targets that are often invisible to traditional discovery methods.
